L.A. Care Health Plan, the nation’s largest publicly operated health plan, has become the first managed care plan in California to use FHIR to connect with its Qualified Health Information Organization (QHIO) under the state’s Data Exchange Framework (DxF).

By partnering with LANES, the Los Angeles Network for Enhanced Services, L.A. Care is setting a new standard for interoperability and real-time data sharing.
