For Immediate Release
August 23, 2019

LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles Network for Enhanced Services (LANES), the leading health information exchange for Los Angeles County, announced today it is working with Beverly Hospital in Montebello to share patient Admission, Discharge and Transfer (ADT) data. Through LANES, the hospital will be able to share real-time ADT data with each patients’ primary care physician and that will help improve care coordination for everyone who passes through the hospital. Sharing real-time ADT data with LANES is only the first phase of a multi-phase implementation.

When Beverly Hospital signed the agreement with LANES, it requested a speedy implementation and committed to making their resources available. The process to get up and running usually takes about three months, but LANES and the Beverly Hospital team were able to accomplish this in one month.

“Our technical team was able to accommodate Beverly’s request to go live with ADTs at
breakneck speed,”
said Ali Modaressi, LANES Executive Director. “We are committed to meeting our partners’ expectations and ensuring implementations run on schedule.”

Beverly Hospital served more than 34,000 patients last year from the communities of Montebello, Pico Rivera, Monterey Park, El Monte, Whittier, and East Los Angeles. This included more than 10,000 admissions, 59,000 outpatient visits, and 38,000 ER visits. The hospital strives to deliver high-tech, high-touch services, and this partnership is helping them do just that.

Over 500 hospital and ambulatory care sites in Los Angeles County are participating with LANES, using real-time data sharing to improve health care delivery for every patient it serves. For more information, visit www.LANESLA.org.
