MFA FAQs

MFA is an additional layer of security used to confirm your identity when logging into your portal account. It requires two verification methods.

MFA enhances account security by making it much harder for unauthorized users to access your account. With the increasing risks of cyberattacks, MFA ensures your data is better protected.

Starting December 18 at 8:00 AM pacific time, all users will need to use MFA to log into the portal.

  1. Log in to the portal with your username and password
  2. A one-time verification code will be sent to your registered email
  3. Enter the code to complete the login process
  • You can check in with your portal administrator.

To help secure your LANES Portal account, we have implemented Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). This process requires an additional step beyond your password to ensure only authorized users gain access. Follow the steps in our User Guide for MFA Email Authentication to set up and use MFA.

No, that will be deployed at a later date, we will announce when it is ready.

While MFA adds an extra step, the process is quick and typically takes a few seconds. The enhanced security is worth the small amount of extra time.
