LANES participants can now offer their patients a free platform that collects and delivers their medical records in an easy-to-use, secure service
LOS ANGELES, March 10, 2025 — Los Angeles Network for Enhanced Services (LANES), a California Qualified Health Information Organization (QHIO), today announced its new partnership with Selfii, a leader in privacy-preserving health data solutions for individuals and healthcare organizations, that provides patients of LANES participants with an intuitive platform for accessing their complete healthcare records. As healthcare becomes more data-driven, the ability for patients to access, manage, and share their comprehensive medical records is essential for better care coordination and improved health outcomes while strengthening the provider-patient relationship.
Effective today, LANES participants’ patients will have access to a comprehensive view of their health records, including lab results, imaging reports, and medication history as shared with LANES through Selfii’s Patient Platform, empowering them to make informed healthcare decisions and foster better communication with their providers.
“At LANES, we are dedicated to enhancing patient care by bridging healthcare gaps and providing seamless access to essential information,” said Ali Modaressi, CEO of LANES. “Our partnership with Selfii takes this mission further by putting the power of personal health information directly into the hands of patients. Through this platform, patients gain a comprehensive view of their healthcare journey by accessing their aggregated digital chart from LANES providers, enabling better health outcomes and fostering patient empowerment.”
LANES’ ability to provide its network with Selfii’s direct-to-consumer Patient Platform is powered by its recent integration with Selfii’s Cures Gateway, a backend solution that streamlines and automates patient data requests for health information organizations and their participants.
These investments highlight LANES’ commitment to improving patient care and maintaining its leadership in using innovative, privacy-focused data technologies for better health information access in the entire region.
“Our work with LANES exemplifies Selfii’s mission to transform overwhelming healthcare data into actionable insights for patients and providers alike,” said Glenn Keet, General Manager of Selfii. “By enabling patients to manage and control access to their own records, we’re simplifying their healthcare experience and helping to foster trust. We’re thrilled to work alongside LANES to bring this level of access and convenience to individuals.”
